Winemakers: Alexander and Maria Koppitsch
Grapes: Zweigelt
Features : A clever mix of a deep and expressive nose and a light and refreshing mouth. The intense bouquet opens with a very beautiful aromatic complexity mixing black fruit (blackberry, blackcurrant, prune), and a very beautiful minerality on saline, ferrous, sanguine notes. On the palate, despite the greedy attack on liquorice, blackcurrant, blue plum and bitter dark chocolate, the firm tannins and gripping acidity perfectly accompany a finish on a bitterness of cherry stone. Austrian excellence deserves these few years of patience to reach this magnificent maturity.
Paiting : Filet mignon
Aging : Very good maturity, drink within 3 years
Alcohol : 12.5% Vol.
Culture : The practice of biodynamics is practiced on the 6 hectares of the family estate. The soils are composed of limestone and clay.
Vinification: Lightly filtered and with a minimal amount of added sulphites
